The Sound of Smart Things

This course expanded my understanding of Creativity & Aesthetics by treating sound as an interactional material. Designing the auditory identity of a smart cheese grater taught me how rhythm, timing, and tone communicate meaning without screens or explicit instructions. The most effective sonic feedback is the kind that stops being noticed as feedback and becomes part of the experience. Working in sound also sharpened my sense of how interactions can unfold over time rather than in a single visual moment.
